LOS MATERIALES CON OXIDO FERRICO SE REDUCEN A ESPONJA DE HIERRO MEDIANTE REDUCTORES SOLIDOS CON CARBONO, CARGANDOSE MATERIAL CON OXIDO FERRICO DE GRANO GRUESO EN EL EXTREMO DE ALIMENTACION DEL HORNO GIRATORIO Y SE INSUFLA MATERIAL CON OXIDO FERRICO DE GRANO FINO EN LA ZONA DE REDUCCION. PARA EVITAR FALLOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO OCASIONADOS POR EL MATERIAL DE GRANO FINO, SE SEPARA EL MATERIAL FRAGMENTADO CON OXIDO FERRICO ANTES DE INTRODUCIRLO EN EL HORNO GIRATORIO CON UNA SECCION DE TAMIZADO DE 3 A 6 MM Y OTRA DE 0,8 A 1,5 MM PARA OBTENER UNA FRACCION GRUESA, UNA FRACCION FINA Y UNA FRACCION FINISIMA. LA FRACCION GRUESA SE CARGA EN EL EXTREMO DE ALIMENTACIUON DEL HORNO GIRATORIO Y LA FRACCION FINA SE SOPLA DESDE EL EXTREMO DE EVACUACION DEL HORNO A LA ZONA DE REDUCCION, REPARTIENDOSE SOBRE LA ALIMENTACION.
