Abstract

A tablet dispenser (1) for separating and dispensing tablets (2), preferably saccharine tablets, is composed essentially of three parts, namely the outer housing (3), a box-type container (4), which fits into said housing (3), and a slide (5). In the position of use, the housing (3) and the container (4) are attached to one another so that only the slide (5) is moved to dispense a tablet. Said slide moves from its open position back into the closed position by the restoring force of the spring (6). The slide (5) is frame-shaped and fits into the inside contour of the container (4). Near to the inlet into the dispensing container (8), the slide has a wall (15) which connects its two side webs (14), the narrow side (16) of which wall can release tablets which may be pressed too tightly against one another during the return movement and tend to become jammed or wedged. <IMAGE>
