Abstract

Structure for concrete frames and methods and procedures for making them. The said structure is made in such a way that, in addition to providing high strength, it entails an effective reduction in the thickness of the frames produced using known systems and permits the incorporation of various parts and installations, including for that purpose two horizontal frames, each forming a grid (1, 2) that are joined together by pyramidal boxes (3) whose bases are connected to the frames that form the lower grid (2) in which its upper vertices form crossing nodes (5) of the upper grid (1), for which the said nodes are located on the centres (6) of the spaces of the lower grid (2), it being possible to form the structure using two procedures, one in which pyramidal (10) and tetrahedral (12) moulds are used and another in which the same pyramidal moulds (10) are used but in combination with two other types, some triangular (23) and some (21) formed from two crossed triangular prisms, each with coincident four-cornered faces forming one only (22).
