EL TANQUE DE LASTRE, DE DOBLE FONDO, DE MEDIA ANCHURA, TIENE UN CONDUCTO DE ACCESO AL TANQUE QUE ESTA SITUADO DENTRO DEL DOBLE COSTADO DEL CASCO. CON PREFERENCIA, EL CONDUCTO DE ACCESO AL TANQUE TIENE POR LO MENOS UNA ANCHURA EQUIVALENTE A UNA CUADERNA. EL TANQUE DE LASTRE LATERAL ESTA SITUADO DENTRO DEL DOBLE CASCO, ADYACENTE AL CONDUCTO DE ACCESO AL TANQUE. LOS ELEMENTOS DEL TANQUE DE LASTRE SE UTILIZAN PREFERIBLEMENTE POR PARES ADYACENTES Y OPUESTOS ENTRE SI. ESTOS PARES DE ELEMENTOS DEL TANQUE DE LASTRE SE PUEDEN EMPLEAR CON JUNTAMENTE CON ELEMENTOS DE TANQUE DE LASTRE DE DOBLE CASCO SIN SUBDIVISIONES INTERNAS.
