CONSISTE EN LA APLICACION AL PUNTO DE CONEXION DE LA RED DE UN MODULO DE TELEMEDIDA DE LINEAS DE ABONADO DE LA RED TELEFONICA CONMUTADA EL CUAL ES DE CARACTER PASIVO, DEDICADO A LINEAS ANALOGICAS, CUYA ACTIVACION SE REALIZA A DISTANCIA DESDE LA CENTRAL, REALIZANDO DOS MEDIDAS DE RESISTENCIA CON POLARIDADES OPUESTAS, CON LA UTILIZACION DE ELEMENTOS SEMICONDUCTORES DE UN SOLO SENTIDO DE CONDUCCION Y DETERMINANDO SI LA PRESENCIA DE UN BAJO AISLAMIENTO VISTO DESDE LA CENTRAL SE ENCUENTRA ANTES O DESPUES DEL PUNTO DE INSTALACION DEL CITADO MODULO DE TELEMEDIDA, DISPONIENDO EL USUARIO DE LA CONEXION DE SU INSTALACION PRIVADA MEDIANTE UNA TAPA CORREDERA, PROVISTA DE UN MUELLE Y SU CORRESPONDIENTE PROTECTOR ACCIONANDO UN CONMUTADOR QUE ACTUA SOBRE LA LINEA TELEFONICA Y AL MISMO TIEMPO CORTA EL SERVICIO A LA RED PRIVADA DE ABONADO.
