EL DISPOSITIVO DE MEDICION (1) COMPRENDE UN CONOCIDO COMPROBADOR DE GAS DE ESCAPE (4) PARA AVERIGUAR EL COMPONENTE DE MONOXIDO DE CARBONO Y DE HIDROGENO DE CARBONO EN EL GAS DE ESCAPE TRAS EL CATALIZADOR (6). ADEMAS ESTA PREVISTO UN CALCULADOR (2) CON ALMACEN INTEGRADO O ALMACEN DE DATOS (3) SEPARADO, INTEGRABLE. EL CALCULADOR O EL ALMACEN DE DATOS SE ENCIERRAN EN LA SONDA LAMBDA (7).
