Abstract

Procedimiento para el tratamiento de aguas residuales que contienen compuestos del boro y radionuclidos, concentrándose por evaporación sensiblemente hasta sequedad las aguas residuales para dar un concentrado, en otra reacción intermedia se genera el éster del ácido bórico por adición de alcohol, se separa del residuo y se descontaminan los residuos que contienen los radionuclidos, caracterizado porque - para el esterificado se agrega un exceso de alcohol butílico o de un alcohol sencillo de cadena larga, teniendo el concentrado en primer lugar una temperatura situada por debajo del punto de ebullición de un azeótropo formado por agua y el alcohol empleado.
