LOS NODOS REALIZAN EL TRATAMIENTO, CONMUTACION Y ENCAMINAMIENTO DE LAS LLAMADAS POR UNA MULTIPLICIDAD DE VIAS Y CAMINOS ALTERNATIVOS, DISTRIBUYENDO, LOS NODOS DE TRANSITO, LAS LLAMADAS OFRECIDAS A UNA MACRORRUTA ENTRE LAS DISTINTAS RUTAS DE DESBORDAMIENTO EN LA RED, EN CASO DE QUE FUERA NECESARIO POR CONGESTION EN LA MACRORRUTA DIRECTA, UTILIZANDO ESTAS RUTAS ALTERNATIVAS DE FORMA CICLICA, SIENDO EL NODO DE TRANSITO ORIGEN DE LA LLAMADA QUIEN GOBIERNA ESTA ELECCION. SE ESTABLECE PARA CADA RUTA UN VALOR UMBRAL OPTIMO DE ENLACES RESERVADOS PARA TRAFICO DIRECTO, VALOR QUE VARIA CON EL TIEMPO DE ACUERDO A LA APLICACION DE UN ALGORITMO QUE TIENE EN CUENTA LAS CIRCUNSTANCIAS ESPECIFICAS DE LA RUTA EN CADA MOMENTO.
