Device for automated data capture and transmission over a switched telephone network.The device includes a central processing and control unit with a basic oscillator and independent supervision circuit of the implemented programs, connected to a clock-calendar controlled by an independent low drift quartz oscillator connected to an EPROM memory for programs and a modular RAM memory it possesses, for message transmission, two serial input/output lines and a line for a centronics-parallel type printer the coupling is performed through a synchronous/asynchronous communication model with a telephone line for the input/output of information the device is completed with a control and display panel and a power supply with an input filter and direct current power source using batteries for the clock-calendar and the RAM memory.
