LA FRACCION LIGERA QUE CONTIENE SOLAMENTE MATERIAL AISLANTE SE COMPACTA Y SE PROCESA POR EL FABRICANTE DE MATERIALES AISLANTES EN NUEVOS MATERIALES AISLANTES. LA FRACCION PESADA, BITUMINOSA, CON UN MAXIMO DEL 5 % DE INCLUSIONES DE MATERIAL AISLANTE, SE MUELE BAJO ADICION DE MATERIALES DE RELLENO USUALES A UN TAMAÑO DE GRANO DE 0,5 HASTA 2,0 MM Y SE EMPLEA EN LA FABRICACION DE MASAS BITUMINOSAS.
