Abstract

Breakwater weir constructed from a series of bars arranged in a group forming different horizontal planes which rest on concrete pillars in such a way that the breakwater is arranged on the said bars forming the assembly that constitutes the breakwater which is provided for application in river beds for the purpose of forming a small weir to reduce the slope and concentrate the absorption of the energy of the water current at its foot. The actual weir is flexible and permeable and will be complemented with special prefabricated parts to form the discharge surface, these parts being located on the bars above.
