Abstract

Manufacturing procedure for a security document. Starting with an appropriate cellulose, the procedure consists in placing within the core of the cellulose security threads of any conventional type which may include holograms, optical interference effects, micro-impressions, fluorescence or any other customised object of the thread, but with the specific uniqueness that the thread is completely embedded in the mass of cellulose which makes up the paper that then undergoes a printing process using ink in specific areas with a refraction index that matches that of the cellulose thus resulting in the transparency of the cellulose in those areas and consequently allowing the security thread to be visible.
