Abstract

The invention relates to a continuous assembly of sealed envelopes with documents incorporated inside, folded in a fanfold fashion and obtained by bundling a lower sheet (1) and an upper sheet (3) in order to constitute the walls, respectively the lower wall and the upper wall, of the successive envelopes, and by bundling one or more intermediate sheets (2), whilst the lower sheet has an extension (1b) and whilst at least the sheets forming the envelope are adhesively bonded together transversely and laterally, but beyond the said extension. The assembly according to the invention is noteworthy in that the upper sheet (3) also has an extension (3b) adhesively bonded transversely over the lower extension (1b), whilst at least one insert (14, 15) is provided between the upper and lower extensions, longitudinal incipient rupture lines (13) being provided on the upper extension (3b) and/or on at least some of the inserts (14, 15) and, if appropriate, on the lower extension (1b), the whole being such that the said extensions form the walls, respectively the lower and upper walls, of supplementary pockets.
