PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA REGENERACION DE POLIETILENO PARCIALMENTE DEGRADADO, ESPECIALMENTE DE POLIETILENO DE BAJA DENSIDAD UTILIZADO COMO CUBIERTA DE INVERNADERO Y PARCIALMENTE DEGRADADO POR ACCION DE LA LUZ SOLAR. EL PROCEDIMEINTO CONSISTE EN SOMETER AL POLIMERO PARCIALMENTE DEGRADADO Y SOMETIDO A UN TRATAMIENTO FISICO PREVIO CONDUCENTE A DISMINUIR SU TAMAÑO Y RETIRAR IMPUREZAS, A TRATAMIENTO CON UNA MEZCLA CONSTITUIDA POR UN AGENTE ESTABILIZANTE Y UN ANTIOXIDANTE JUNTO CON CANTIDADES VARIABLES DE MATERIA PRIMA VIRGEN EN UNA EXTRUSORA A TEMPERATURAS INFERIORES A 170GC. COMO AGENTE ANTIOXIDANTE PUEDE UTILIZARSE UN DERIVADO FENOLICO Y COMO ESTABILIZANTE UN FOSFITO. LAS GRANZAS ASI OBTENIDAS CUMPLEN LAS ESPECIFICACIONES TECNICAS NECESARIAS PARA SU POSTERIOR TRANSFORMACION Y UTILIZACION EN DIFERENTES APLICACIONES.
