Abstract

In a signal horn, in particular for motor vehicles, having a diaphragm which is moved by a drive and which acts on a pressure chamber, having a funnel which adjoins the pressure chamber, is wound parallel to the diaphragm and ends in a sound exit opening, and having means for connecting a part of the signal horn to the surrounding air, the funnel has an essentially downwardly pointing opening at a turn located deepest at a predetermined installation position of the signal horn in order to avoid adverse effects of the emitted sound by water in the funnel, an essentially downwardly pointing channel adjoining said opening.
