LAS PLACAS ESTAN DISPUESTAS PARA EL AUMENTO DEL RENDIMIENTO Y PARA CONSEGUIR SU UNIFORMIDAD. DE ESTA FORMA, EN EL CAMINO INTERMEDIO DE UN INTERCAMBIADOR DE CALOR AL SIGUIENTE, O DE UN PAQUETE DE PLACAS AL SIGUIENTE, LOS EXTREMOS DE PLACAS ESTAN DISPUESTOS UNO CONTRA OTRO, TANTO EN LOS CONDUCTOS INTERMEDIOS DE PASO, COMO EN LOS INTERCAMBIADORES, DE FORMA QUE EL EXTREMO DE UN PAQUETE DE PLACAS DE UN INTERCAMBIADOR, ESTA COLOCADO EN SENTIDO CONTRARIO AL PROXIMO; LIMITANDO LAS PLACAS (6) EN UN CONDUCTO SUPERIOR E INFERIOR.
