Abstract

The invention concerns a packaging (1, 1a, 1b) permitting the visual display of at least one in particular cylindrical or tubular article for sale (6, 6a, 6b) on a card-like sheet of cardboard (2, 3). The aim of the invention is to enable the article to be displayed on the sheet of cardboard without the need for a plastic cover, and for it to be impossible to remove the article without destroying the packaging. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the article (6, 6a, 6b) is gripped between two superposed cardboard cards (2, 3), the first card (2) having at least a cut-out (5, 20, 27) of a size corresponding to part of the cross-sectional area of the article (6, 6a, 6b) and the second card (3) has an arched section (19, 19a, 19b) corresponding to the cut-out (5, 20, 27) and to the cross-sectional area of the article (6, 6a, 6b) and matching the external shape of the article (6, 6a, 6b).
