LA GASIFICACION SE REALIZA CON UNA PRESION DE, AL MENOS, 10 BARES Y CON UNA TEMPERATURA DE, AL MENOS, 1400 C, AL MISMO TIEMPO, QUE LAS ESCORIAS FUNDIDAS LIQUIDAS, QUE SE PRODUCEN DURANTE LA GASIFICACION, SE SOLIDIFICAN POR ENFRIAMIENTO CON AGUA, CUYA TEMPERATURA SE HALLA 20 A 30 C POR DEBAJO DE SU TEMPERATURA DE EBULLICION CORRESPONDIENTE A LA PRESION DE GASIFICACION. LA TEMPERATURA DESEADA DEL AGUA ES MANTENIDA POR EL HECHO DE QUE SE SEPARA UNA CORRIENTE PARCIAL DE AGUA Y SE HACE PASAR EN CIRCUITO CERRADO POR UN GENERADOR DE VAPOR DONDE SE ENFRIA, AL MISMO TIEMPO, QUE EL VAPOR GENERADO SE LLEVA A LA TURBINA DE VAPOR DE LA CENTRAL TERMICA CON TURBINAS DE GAS Y DE VAPOR.
