CUANDO UN MICROORGANISMO SE CULTIVA EN UN MEDIO NUTRIENTE APROPIADO QUE CONTIENE UN POLIMERO QUE RESPONDE A LOS METABOLICOS, LOS PRODUCTOS METABOLICOS DEL ORGANISMO ACIDIFICAN EL MEDIO Y PRECIPITAN UN COMPLEJO DE POLIMERO Y METABOLITO QUE SE DEPOSITA O ACUMULA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DE UN DISPOSITIVO BIOSENSOR PIEZOELECTRICO.
