LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A MATERIALES TRANSPARENTES QUE SON CAPACES DE ABSORBER LIQUIDOS Y MAS PARTICULARMENTE, A MATERIALES QUE PUEDEN SER USADOS COMO CAPAS RECEPTORAS DE TINTA PARA MATERIALES REFLECTANTES TRANSPARENTES. COMPOSICIONES UTILES COMO MATERIALES ABSORBENTES DE LIQUIDO TRANSPARENTE HAN SIDO FORMADAS POR MEZCLA DE UN MATERIAL POLIMERICO INSOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO CON UN MATERIAL POLIMERICO SOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO. EL MATERIAL INSOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO SE SUPONE QUE FORMA UNA MATRIZ DENTRO DE LA CUAL RESIDE EL MATERIAL SOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO. UN PROBLEMA QUE CON FRECUENCIA SURGE EN LA FORMULACION DE MEZCLAS DE POLIMEROS ES LA INCOMPATIBILIDAD DE LOS POLIMEROS QUE ESTAN SIENDO MEZCLADOS. ESTA INVENCION PROPORCIONA MALLAS POLIMERICAS QUE COMPRENDEN MEZCLAS DE POLIMEROS EN LAS QUE AL MENOS UNO DE LOS POLIMEROS DE LA MEZCLA ES DEENLACE CRUZADO DESPUES DE LA MEZCLA, PARA FORMAR UNA MALLA CONTINUA A TRAVES DE LA MASA DE LA MEZCLA, ESTANDO LOS COMPONENTES NO CRUZADOS DE LA MEZCLA ENTRELAZADOS DE TAL MODO COMO PARA FORMAR UNA COMPOSICION HOMOGENEA MACROSCOPICAMENTE. SUSTANCIALMENTE LA TOTALIDAD DEL ENLACE CRUZADO SE PRESENTA DESPUES DE QUE LA MEZCLA POLIMERICA ESTA REVESTIDA Y SECADA PARA FORMAR UNA PELICULA CONTINUA EN CONTRASTE CON EL ENLACE CRUZADO EN SOLUCION, PROPORCIONANDO POR ESO UNA SOLUCION FACILMENTE REVESTIBLE SIN GELACION. LA INTEGRIDAD DE TALES MALLAS PERSISTE INCLUSO DESPUES DE LA ABSORCION DE DISOLVENTE. ESTOS MATERIALES PUEDEN SER EMPLEADOS PARA FORMAR REVESTIMIENTOS TRANSPARENTES, ABSORBENTES DE TINTA, NO PEGAJOSOS, DURADEROS, PARA MATERIALES GRAFICOS.
