SE DESCRIBE PROCEDIMIENTO E INSTALACION PARA EL SECADO DE LODO ACTIVADO, DONDE EL LODO SE CONDUCE A UN RECIPIENTE 1 POR MEDIO DE UN EQUIPO DE ALIMENTACION CONTINUA (2, 6, 8) Y MEDIANTE UN EQUIPO DE EVACUACION (3, 11) EN FORMA DE UNA COLUMNA DE LODO ACTIVADO CUBIERTA ESTABLE QUE SE DESPLAZA DE LA PARTE SUPERIOR HACIA PARTE INFERIOR Y DONDE SE SECA EN CONTRACORRIENTE POR MEDIO DE UN AIRE DE SECADO QUE ENTRA A TRAVES DE UN SUELO DE VENTILACION CON ABERTURAS DISPUESTAS EN LA CARA INFERIOR DEL RECIPIENTE Y SE DESPLAZA A LA CARA SUPERIOR. EL CALOR CONTENIDO EN FORMA LATENTE Y SENSIBLE EN EL AIRE DE SECADO CONDUCIDO EN EL RECIPIENTE ES TRANSMITIDO A TRAVES DE UN INTERCAMBIADOR DE CALOR (13) AL AIRE GUIADO DE FUERA, DE FORMA QUE ES SUFICIENTE PARA EL RESTO DEL PROCESO EN SU PERIODO FINAL DURANTE EL SECADO LIBRE, PARA MANTENER EL LODO ACTIVADO EN EL RECIPIENTE A UNA TEMPERATURA MAS ALTA. SE EXTRAE UNA PARTE DEL LODO ACTIVADO SECADO EN LA CARA INFERIOR DEL RECIPIENTE (1) Y ES MEZCLADO A TRAVES DE UNADIRECCION DE MEZCLA (7) CON EL LODO ACTIVADO CONDUCIDO DESDE FUERA (2), A FIN DE AJUSTAR LA CONSISTENCIA INICIAL Y LA HUMEDAD. SEGUN UNA VERSION ESPECIAL A MODO DE EJEMPLO DE ESTE DESCUBRIMIENTO SE PREVE UN SEGUNDO RECIPIENTE ESENCIALMENTE DEL MISMO TIPO, DONDE EL AIRE DE SECADO EXTRAIDO ES CONDUCIBLE DE SU CARA INFERIOR A LA CARA SUPERIOR DEL PRIMER RECIPIENTE BAJO MEZCLA DEL AIRE DE SECADO DIRECTAMENTE CONDUCIDO DEL AMBIENTE.
