LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE PRODUCCION DE UNA ENZIMA DEL TIPO BETA-GLUCURONIDASA QUE IMPLICA EL CULTIVO DE UN MICROORGANISMO, EFECTUADO EN UN MEDIO QUE COMPORTA AL MENOS UNA FUENTE DE CARBONO Y UNA FUENTE DE NITROGENO, Y LA EXTRACCION Y LA PURIFICACION DE LA ENZIMA A PARTIR DE LA BIOMASA Y/O DEL MEDIO DEL CULTIVO. SEGUN LA INVENCION, LA ENZIMA ES PRODUCIDA POR EL CULTIVO DE UN MICROORGANISMO DE TIPO ASPERGILLUS O DE SUS VARIANTES Y MUTANTES. LA INVENCION CONCIERNE IGUALMENTE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE HIDROLISIS DE UNA SOLUCION DE GLICIRRIZINA O DE EXTRACTOS VEGETALES QUE CONTIENEN O NO HASTA 20% EN VOLUMEN DE ALCOHOL ETILICO.
