Abstract

Novel system for the installation of glass sheets 5 in the corresponding window or door frame or case 1. The glass sheets 5 sit via their edge on plastic pieces 12 fixed to the frame 1 via screws 13, said pieces having guides 14 for the introduction of dismantleable elements 15 for supporting the glass sheets 5 on their inner face, while on their outer face they bear against the frame 1 itself, with the interposition of draught excluders. The plastic pieces 12 also have grooves 16 in which tubular "reed" (strip) profiles 18 are housed at the front. These profiles are fitted and removed whenever necessary with extreme ease. The profiles could also be cut at their ends at 45 degree, giving the whole an improved aesthetic appearance.
