Abstract

Tunnel for the continuous washing of skins, which is characterized by comprising various static containers 1 in a continuous line, in the lower part of which one or more drainage valves 7 are connected and inside which is fitted another container 2 having orifices 3 in an arrangement coinciding with the above, tipping on the latter by means of hydraulic cylinders 4 actuated via controls 8 and with this second container 2 having, attached in its upper part, a wheel 5 whose rotation is ensured by means of a power plant 6. Provision has also been made for the positioning of a tank 10 in the lower part of the assemblage for the purpose of collecting the drainage water from all the containers 1 except that from the first of them, which is conveyed to the main drain, in such a way that once the water is being stored in the tank 10, detectors 16 automatically start up a group of pumps 11 which pump the water through a pipeline 12 to each container, except the last one, which is filled solely with clean water, via manual or automatic valves 13, while in the upper part of the container 1 there is incorporated a water level detector 14 which acts on the stated pumps 11 or on the clean water inlet valve 15.
