Abstract

The invention relates to a support framework for a box, particularly for an installation of a letter box and/or phone entry system for a door, with support posts (11.1, 11.2) made up of lengths of hollow section. The lengths of hollow section constituting the support posts (11.1, 11.2) and the crossmember (11.3) which joins them together have a triangular cross section and are standardised. Inside the posts are provided ducts for the installation of service cables. The framework has a shape which can be adapted to any size of box to be supported. By virtue of the standardisation of the manufactured elements, it is very simple to carry stock, and the framework can be assembled on the user site.
