LAS SUSTANCIAS AROMATICAS SE OBTIENEN A PARTIR DE HIDROCARBUROS QUE LAS CONTIENEN, POR DESTILACION EXTRACTIVA, UTILIZANDO UN DISOLVENTE SELECTIVO. ESTE DISOLVENTE SE INTRODUCE EN LA COLUMNA DE EXTRACCION A 40 (GRADOS) C MENOS DE TEMPERATURA QUE LA QUE REINA EN LA COLUMNA EN EL PUNTO DE ADMISION DEL DISOLVENTE. AL MISMO TIEMPO, EL VOLUMEN DE DISOLVENTE SE REDUCE EN UN 10 A 50 % CON RESPECTO AL VOLUMEN QUE CORRESPONDE A LA SELECTIVIDAD, ESTANDO DIRECTAMENTE RELACIONADOS ENTRE SI LA DISMINUCION DE TEMPERATURA Y LA DISMINUCION DE VOLUMEN.
