LA INVENCION CONSISTE EN LA APLICACION DE LAS ALEACIONES NI TI PARA PROTESIS DENTALES COMO RETENEDORES PROTESICOS CARACTERIZADAS PORQUE EL EFECTO PSEUDOELASTICO DE LA ALEACION PRODUCE FUERZAS CONSTANTES EN REGIMEN ELASTICO DE MANERA CONTINUA, POR LO QUE APLICADO A RETENEDORES, FIJA LA PROTESIS A LA BOCA SIN PELIGRO DE DESACTIVACION AL SER EXTRAIDO. DICHO EFECTO PSEUDOELASTICO SE PRESENTA POR UNA TRANSFORMACION DE FASE EN LA ESTRUCTURA DEL MATERIAL, BIEN INDUCIDA POR LA TENSION, BIEN POR TEMPERATURA PRODUCIENDO EN EL MATERIAL LO QUE SE DENOMINA TRANSFORMACION MARTENSITICA TERMOELASTICA.
