EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN COMBINAR EL FANGO CON UN OXIDANTE Y OXIDIZAR DESPUES EL FANGO BAJO CONDICIONES SUPERCRITICAS O CASI SUPERCRITICAS PARA DESTRUIR LAS PCDDS Y LAS PCDFS. CON EL USO DE ESTE PROCESO, SE HA ALCANZADO UNA EFICACIA DE DESTRUCCION MAYOR DEL 98% PARA 2, 3, 7, 8-TETRACLORODIBENZO-P-DIOXINA (TCDD), QUE SEGUN SE DICE ES LA MAS TOXICA DE LAS DIOXINAS.
