LAS MICROCAPSULAS SON PREPARADAS MEDIANTE LA POLIMERIZACION INTERFACIAL O EL CRUZADO INTERFACIAL ENTRE UN REACTIVO, TAL COMO UN POLISOCIANATO DISUELTO EN UNA SOLUCION ACEITOSA Y UN COREACTIVO TAL COMO UNA POLISAL DE CASEINA Y TRIAMINA DIETILENO PRESENTE EN UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA EN LA QUE SE APLICA LA SOLUCION ACEITOSA. LA SOLUCION ACUOSA CONTIENE AGUA Y UN DILUYENTE NO-VOLATIL COMO UN AZUCAR NO-REDUCTOR, POR EJEMPLO GLUCOSIDO DE METILO. LAS MICROCAPSULAS CON ACEITE CONTIENEN UN SOLVENTE OLEAGINOSO Y UNA MEZCLA DE PRECURSORES DE TINTE QUE BAJO REACCION CON REVELADOR DE COLOR PRODUCE UNA IMAGEN DE NEGRO INTENSO. LA TINTA IMPRESORA TIENE UN 60-70% EN PESO DE CONTENIDO EN SOLIDOS Y PUEDE UTILIZARSE COMO UN AGENTE REVESTIDOR CB DE BAJO PESO PARA LA PREPARACION DE PAPEL DE COPIA SIN CARBON.
