Abstract

A single-pole, neutral differential circuit-breaker (10) with one-piece insulating case (12) includes a first circuit-breaker compartment (16) and a second compartment (18) with differential protection, and which is situated to the right of and separated from the phase circuit (20) by a separation wall (14). The primary phase winding (64) of the differential transformer (54) is branched to the contact area of the phase terminal (26) by a first connecting conductor (70), and to the aft end of the coil (40) of the electromagnetic trip by a second conductor (68). The two conductors (68, 70) pass through the wall (14) via orifices (76, 78) made in a gap between the terminal (26) and the exhaust zone of the arc-extinction chamber (44). <IMAGE>
