Abstract

Improvements introduced in the construction elements for contact banks used in automatic telephony installations or the like comprising a plate of insulating material that supports a plurality of parallel contact members projecting at least with respect to an edge of the plate and a plurality of multiple connection wires connected to the plate and extending parallel to one another and to the plane of the plate, said multiple connection wires extending perpendicularly to the traction of the contact members and electrically connected to each other. One or more of the contact members characterized by the fact that the contact members are constituted by flat metal strips whose plane extends perpendicular to the plane of the plate and which are retained in the plate because the insulating material is attached on one side of a strip through an opening made in the same to the material on the other side of the strip extending one edge of said strips in a longitudinal direction coinciding with a planar boundary surface of the plate while the central portion of the other edge of the strips is freely related with grooves provided in the other flat surface plate boundary, said grooves being formed by ribs extending between the contact members and parallel thereto in a recess of the central part of the plate and said ribs supporting the multiple connection wires.
