ANTENA DE ALTA FRECUENCIA SINTONIZABLE QUE TIENE, SOBRE LA LONGITUD DE SU DIMENSION, UN CIERTO NUMERO DE INTERRUPTORES INCORPORADOS MEDIANTE LOS CUALES SE DEFINEN LAS SECCIONES DE LA ANTENA Y SE SINTONIZA LA FRECUENCIA A TRAVES DE LA SINTONIZACION A LO LARGO DE LA ANTENA AL DESCONECTAR Y CONECTAR DICHAS SECCIONES. LA ANTENA COMPRENDE UN PAR DE CONDUCTORES DE ALAMBRE EN PARALELO, INCORPORADOS EN SERIE CON LOS INTERRUPTORES, QUE FORMAN ANTENAS DIPOLARES Y QUE SE UTILIZAN TANTO PARA LA CONDUCCION DE LA CORRIENTE DE LAS ANTENAS DE ALTA FRECUENCIA COMO PARA ALIMENTAR LOS INTERRUPTORES. LA ANTENA ESTA PROVISTA EN SU PUNTO DE ALIMENTACION CENTRAL DE UN CIRCUITO DE CONTROL PARA SINTONIZAR LA FRECUENCIA. CADA INTERRUPTOR ESTA FORMADO POR UN RELE INCLINABLE PROVISTO DE UN CIRCUITO GUIA ASOCIADO QUE NO REQUERIRA POTENCIA DESPUES DE LA CONMUTACION, LAS SECCIONES DE LA ANTENA DESCONECTADA CON LOS INTERRUPTORES ASOCIADOS ELECTRICAMENTE AISLADOS DE LA PIEZA SOBRANTE DE LA ANTENA DESPUES DE COMPLETAR LA LONGITUD COMPARADA. EL CIRCUITO DE CONTROL ESTA DISEÑADO DE ESTA FORMA PARA QUE EN CADA INTERVALO DE FRECUENCIA CORRESPONDIENTE A UNA ANTENA DE LONGITUD ESPECIAL, SE ALCANZA UNA IMPEDANCIA EMPAREJADA A UN NUMERO LIBREMENTE SELECCIONABLE DE FRECUENCIAS DE SINTONIZACION CON LA AYUDA DE UN CIRCUITO QUE CONTIENE REACTANCIAS
