DISPOSITIVO DE MEDICION DE CAUDAL. SE DESCRIBE UN DISPOSITIVO DE MEDICION DE CAUDAL SEGUN EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE PRESION DIFERENCIAL, ESPECIALMENTE PARA MEDIOS HIDRAULICOS. EL DISPOSITIVO DE MEDICION PRESENTA UN ELEMENTO DE ELEVACION CARGADO POR MUELLE, INTRODUCIDO EN UN CILINDRO, QUE CON UN CAUDAL EN CONTRA DE LA FUERZA DEL MUELLE LIBERA UN ORIFICIO RADIAL EN LA ENVOLTURA DEL CILINDRO. EL ELEMENTO ELEVADOR ESTA ACOPLADO CON UN REGISTRADOR DE RECORRIDO ELECTRICO Y LA SEÑAL DE SALIDA DE DICHO REGISTRADOR ES UNA MEDIDA PARA EL CAUDAL. EL ORIFICIO EFECTIVO DE LA TAPA TIENE ESENCIALMENTE LA FORMA DE UN TRIANGULO EQUILATERO, CUYO VERTICE ESTA DIRIGIDO AL SENTIDO DEL CIERRE. EL LADO OPUESTO AL VERTICE DEL ORIFICIO DE LA TAPA ESTA FORMADO POR LA SUPERFICIE FRONTAL DEL ELEMENTO ELEVADOR CARGADO CON MUELLE. LA SEÑAL DE SALIDA ELECTRICA DEL REGISTRADOR DE RECORRIDO PRESENTA LA MISMA CURVA CARACTERISTICA PROGRESIVA QUE LA CURVA CARACTERISTICA DEL CAUDAL DEL ORIFICIO DE TAPA. MEDIANTE LA COINCIDENCIA DE LAS DOS CURVAS CARACTERISTICAS PROGRESIVAS DEL CAUDAL Y DEL REGISTRADOR DE RECORRIDO SE CONSIGUE QUE SE EMITA UNA SEÑAL ELECTRICA DE SALIDA LINEAL.
