ESTE DENSIMETRO ESTA CONFORMADO COMO UN CUERPO MEDIDOR QUE ENLAZA CON UN CANAL DE LIQUIDOS PARA LOS LIQUIDOS A EVALUAR. EL CUERPO MEDIDOR (M) CONTIENE UN UNICO TRANSFORMADOR EMISOR/RECEPTOR DE ONDAS DE ULTRASONIDO EN FORMA DE PIEZODISCO (1), QUE SIRVE PARA GENERAR UNA EMISION DE ONDAS DE ULTRASONIDO, QUE SE POSICIONA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL FLUIDO A MEDIR Y SOBRE UNA CAPA LIMITE DE REFERENCIA, Y PARA LA RECEPCION TANTO DE UN ECO DE REFERENCIA COMO DE UN ECO UTIL. EL CUERPO MEDIDOR (M) TIENE ESENCIALMENTE FORMA DE CONO TRUNCADO. EL PIEZODISCO (1) ESTA DISPUESTO EN UNA PRIMERA SECCION (1/2) DE PEQUEÑO DIAMETRO DEL CUERPO MEDIDOR (M) QUE ES PREFERENTEMENTE VERTICAL RESPECTO AL EJE DE ROTACION DEL CUERPO MEDIDOR (M).
