Abstract

Electrodo para cuba electrolítica, estando colocado dicho electrodo en una envolvente que define una cámara (78), una pared de la cual está formada por una membrana (83) que permite el paso de iones a su través, presentando dicha envolvente una primera abertura (100) para alimentar la cámara con un electrólito y una segunda abertura (101) para evacuar el electrólito dela cámara, estando provista dicha envolvente de medios que definen canales verticales (112) destinados a dirigir el ujo ascendente del electrólito con una velocidad de al menos 0,01 m/s, caracterizado dicho electrodo porque comprende una serie de aletas (111) verticales que se extienden entre una extremidad inferior y una extremidad superior, porque la envolvente comprende una abertura para alimentar con electrólito la cámara definida por la envolvente en la extremidad inferior de las aletas (111), y una abertura, en la proximidad de la extremidad superior de las aletas, para evacuar el electrólito de la cámara del electrólito, y porque las aletas actúan como electrodo y forman entre ellas canales distintos (112), estando formada una pared de dichos canales por una rejilla o una banda porosa (84) que lleva dicha membrana (83) cambiadora de iones, y porque las aletas (111) tienen una altura (h) comprendida entre 5 y 10 mm, mientras que la distancia que separa dos aletas adyacentes está comprendida entre 5 y 10 mm.
