Abstract

The improvements comprise the arrangement of multiple deflectors (baffles) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the supply belt, arranged with mutual separations which correspond, with a degree of tolerance in excess, to the diameter of the discoidal pieces to be counted and located at a height over the upper face of the belt which is less than the thickness of said discoidal elements, converting the disordered flow of discoidal pieces on the conveyor belts into lines of discoidal pieces arranged in the longitudinal direction of the actual belt and being combined with summing detectors for each one of the discharge lines of the discoidal pieces which send their counting signals to a common summing device equipped with a single indicator screen.
