Abstract

Safety devices exist for insertion into an outlet opening of a pressurised beverage cask, in particular a beer cask, having a housing (5), a central tube (15), a bayonet plate (11), which engages with outer projections in L-slits of a housing part, and also having a compression spring (21), which is supported on the one hand against the bayonet plate and on the other hand against a sealing device (20). In order to make the safety device possible in completely fitted-together form by simple pushing into the outlet opening of the beverage cask and by simple screwing-in, it is proposed to provide at least one movable locking element (22) which is designed and arranged in such a way that, during the insertion operation, it can give way with respect to the edge of the outlet opening and, in the operating position, engages behind the inner edge of the outlet opening. <IMAGE>
