Abstract
Un método para recuperar compuestos de germanio de carbones minerales que consiste en someter carbones a un proceso de combustión o de carbonización por el cual los compuestos volátiles de germanio son arrastrados por los gases residuales de la carbonización siendo dicho gas lavado con agua y con una solución acuosa básica o ácida y enfriado luego de tal modo que los compuestos de germanio sean disueltos en dicha solución y el germanio recuperado de ellos.
