COMPRENDE REBAJAR LA TEMPERATURA DE CONGELACION DESDE SU VALOR INICIAL HASTA UNOS -40 C DURANTE EL TIEMPO NECESARIO PARA QUE LA MUESTRA ADQUIERA UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE -5 Y -7 C; CONTINUAR REBAJANDO LA TEMPERATURA HASTA -60 C/-100 C MAS BRUSCAMENTE Y A CONTINUACION AUMENTARLA HASTA QUE LA MUESTRA ALCANCE LOS -15 C, TRAS LO CUAL SE VUELVE A REBAJAR MUCHO MAS LENTAMENTE HASTA -120 C APROXIMADAMENTE. PARA LA DESCONGELACION SE INTRODUCE LA BOLSA CONTENIENDO EL HOMOINJERTO EN SUERO FISIOLOGICO A 40 C, DESPUES SE ABREN LAS BOLSAS Y EL CONTENIDO SE VIERTE TAMBIEN SOBRE SUERO A 40 C AGITANDO MUY SUAVEMENTE HASTA QUE EL HIELO SE FUNDE TOTALMENTE. IMPORTANTES APLICACIONES EN MEDICINA, EN ESPECIAL, EN EL CAMPO DE LOS TRASPLANTES DE ORGANOS.
