SE DESCRIBEN APARATOS Y METODOS BASADOS EN TECNICAS DE PROCESAMIENTO DE SEÑALES PARA DETERMINAR LA DISTANCIA DE UN OBJETO EN RELACION CON LA CAMARA, PARA EL AUTOENFOQUE RAPIDO DE LA CAMARA Y PARA OBTENER IMAGENES ENFOCADAS A PARTIR DE IMAGENES BORROSAS PRODUCIDAS POR UNA CAMARA. EL APARATO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION INCLUYE UNA CAMARA CARACTERIZADA POR UNA SERIE DE CUATRO PARAMETROS DE CAMARA: POSICION DEL DETECTOR DE IMAGEN O PELICULA DENTRO DE LA CAMARA, LONGITUD FOCAL DEL SISTEMA OPTICO DE LA CAMARA, EL TAMAÑO DE LA ABERTURA DE LA CAMARA Y LAS CARACTERISTICAS DEL FILTRO DE LUZ DE LA CAMARA. EN EL METODO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION, SE GRABAN POR LO MENOS DOS IMAGENES DEL OBJETO CON VALORES DIFERENTES DE LA SERIE DE PARAMETROS DE LA CAMARA. LAS DOS IMAGENES SE CONVIERTEN A UN FORMATO ESTANDAR PARA OBTENER DOS IMAGENES NORMALIZADAS. LOS VALORES DE LOS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA Y LAS IMAGENES NORMALIZADAS SE SUSTITUYEN EN UNA ECUACION OBTENIDA AL IGUALAR DOS EXPRESIONES PARA LA IMAGEN ENFOCADA DEL OBJETO. LAS DOS EXPRESIONES PARA LA IMAGEN ENFOCADA SE BASAN EN UNA NUEVA FORMULA DE CONVOLUCION QUE REQUIERE COMPUTAR UNICAMENTE LOS DERIVADOS DE LAS IMAGENES NORMALIZADAS Y UNA SERIE DE PARAMETROS DE PESO DEPENDIENTES DE LOS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA Y LA FUNCION DE DISTRIBUCION DE PUNTOS DE LA CAMARA. SE DETERMINA LA SOLUCION PARA LA DISTANCIA QUE ES CONSECUENTE CON LA TERCERA IMAGEN Y LOS NUEVOS VALORES PARA LOS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA PARA OBTENER LA DISTANCIA DEL OBJETO. BASANDOSE EN LA DISTANCIA DEL OBJETO, SE DETERMINA UNA SERIE DE VALORES PARA LOS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA PARA ENFOCAR EL OBJETO. SE AJUSTARA ENTONCES LOS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA IGUALES A ESOS VALORES PARA CONSEGUIR EL AUTOENFOQUE. DESPUES DE DETERMINAR LA DISTANCIA DEL OBJETO, SE OBTIENE LA IMAGEN ENFOCADA DEL OBJETO UTILIZANDO LA FORMULA DE CONVOLUCION. UNA VERSION GENERALIZADA DEL METODO DE DETERMINACION DE LA DISTANCIA DE UN OBJETO PUEDE UTILIZARSE PARA DETERMINAR UNO O MAS PARAMETROS DE CAMARA DESCONOCIDOS.
