Abstract

An electrical plug connector (10) has a housing (12) in which an elastomeric part (22) is held compressed in the axial direction by a screw union (27, 28). The elastomeric part (22), which is in the form of a sleeve, is plugged onto the end of a cable (30) which is connected to the plug connector (10). Said elastomeric part (22) consists of an electrically conductive material, seals the plug connection against moisture and at the same time produces the electrically conductive connection between a screen (34) of the cable (30) and the housing (12) of the plug connector (10). <IMAGE>
