LA MAYOR PARTE DEL CONTROL DE GANANCIA TOTAL DE LA SEÑAL RECIBIDA SE CUMPLE EN LAS SECCIONES DE FRECUENCIA DE BANDA BASE, EN LAS RAMAS I Y Q DESDE DONDE SE CONTROLA LA AMPLIFICACION DE SEÑAL PASO A PASO, Y SOLO UNA MENOR PARTE DEL CONTROL DE GANANCIA TOTAL SE REALIZA EN LA ETAPA DE RF. SE FORMAN PASOS DE AMPLIFICACION ALTA MEDIANTE AMPLIFICADORES (9A,10A,11A,12A;9B,10B,11B,12B), DE LOS QUE SE ACTIVA EL AMPLIFICADOR DESEADO POR MEDIO DE UN MULTIPLICADOR (13A,13B) CONTROLADO DIGITALMENTE (A,B), Y SE FORMAN PASOS DE AMPLIFICACION BAJA POR MEDIO DE UN ATENUADOR DE RESISTENCIA (14A,14B), EN EL QUE SE SELECCIONA UNA SEÑAL DEL NIVEL DESEADO POR MEDIO DE UN MULTIPLICADOR (15A,15B) CONTROLADO DIGITALMENTE (C,D,E).
