Abstract

The document comprises two linked main panels (1a, 1b), connected by a fold line (4), one of which is in the form of a self-adhesive transparent film layer (2) with a peel-off protective layer (3), while the other is of paper and has an additional extending flap (1c). The additional flap is smaller than the main panels and has an adhesive strip (2c) along one edge.Two tabs (9, 10) on the end and bottom of the first panel (1a) also have adhesive surfaces and go over the side and bottom of the additional flap (1c). Once the requisite information has been noted on the second main panel (1b), the additional flap is folded inwards and then the transparent adhesive layer is placed over it and stuck down. The transparent layer protects the second panel (1b) from being effaced, while the additional flap makes a pocket which can be used for an auxiliary document such as a coupon or ticket. Where appropriate the second panel can have a cut-away portion (11') to display a photograph which is stuck to the transparent adhesive panel. ADVANTAGE/USE - Allows two documents to be incorporated for use, e.g. in transport document or identity card.
