MICROORGANISMO CVA(PSEUDOMONAS PUTIDA) Y PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA DEGRADACION MICROBIOLOGICA DE HIDROCARBUROS AROMATICOS DEL TIPO TOLUENO, XILENOS O ETILBENCENO. SE HAN AISLADO Y CARACTERIZADO BACTERIAS PERTENECIENTES AL GENERO CVAPSEUDOMONAS (DEPOSITADAS EL 13/6/1994 CON EL NUMERO 4501 EN LA C.E.C.T.) QUE SON CAPACES DE TOLERAR HASTA 90 POR CIENTO (V/V) DE TOLUENO, XILENOS Y ETILBENCENO Y DE UTILIZAR DICHOS COMPUESTOS COMO FUENTE DE CARBONO PROVOCANDO DE ESTA MANERA SU ELIMINACION. LA ELIMINACION DE TOLUENO, XILENOS Y ETILBENCENO EN EFLUENTES, AGUAS Y SUELOS CONTAMINADOS POR DICHOS COMPUESTOS SE REALIZA INOCULANDO LOS EFLUENTES Y SUELOS A TRATAR CON UN CULTIVO DE DICHOS MICROORGANISMOS. ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO PUEDE APLICARSE EN LA ELIMINACION DE TOLUENO, XILENOS Y ETILBENCENO CONTENIDOS EN EFLUENTES INDUSTRIALES, AGUAS Y SUELOS CONTAMINADOS, ASI COMO EN LA ELIMINACION DE EXCEDENTES EN TANQUES DE ALMACENAMIENTO, APORTANDOSE DE ESTA MANERA UNA SOLUCION EFICAZ AL PROBLEMA MEDIOAMBIENTAL ASOCIADO CONEL TRATAMIENTO DE DICHOS POLUCIONANTES UBICUOS.
