UNA FUENTE DE ALIMENTACION PARA UNA MAQUINA DE ELECTROEROSION QUE TIENE UN ELEMENTO DE CONMUTACION QUE CONTROLA LA CORRIENTE DE TRABAJO EN EL INTERVALO. EL VALOR DE LA CORRIENTE SE COMPARA CON UNA TENSION DETERMINADA Y SE PROPORCIONA LA SEÑAL GENERADA EN BASE A ESTA COMPARACION A UNA PUERTA LOGICA, CONVENIENTEMENTE UNA PUERTA "Y", CUYA SEÑAL DE SALIDA SE APLICA AL ELECTRODO DE CONTROL DEL ELEMENTO DE CONMUTACION. LA FUENTE DE ALIMENTACION SUPRIME CUALQUIER TENDENCIA A FORMAR CHISPAS DURANTE LAS CONDICIONES DE CORTOCIRCUITO DEL INTERVALO E INCREMENTA LA CORRIENTE TOTAL EN EL INTERVALO INCLUSO AUNQUE LA TENSION DEL INTERVALO SEA BAJA PARA MANTENER UNA ELEVADA TASA DE TRABAJO.
