LA SECUENCIA HRPII YA MOSTRO SUS CUALIDADES PROTECTORAS EN EL MODELO DE LOS MONOS (EP-A2-0 315 085), HABIENDOSE EMPLEADO EN EL PRESENTE ENSAYO PROTECTOR, UNA ZONA TERMINAL-C DE 189 AMINOACIDOS. EL SERP FUE IDENTIFICADO FRENTE A UNA BANDA PROTEINICA PROTECTORA (EP-A1-0 283 882) CON LA AYUDA DE UN ANTISUERO. LA SECUENCIA PARCIAL UTILIZADA (AMINOACIDO (AS) 631-892 O 630-764) CONTIENE, AL MENOS, DOS EPITOPES DE CELULA-T (ROUSSILHON ET AL. (1990), IMMUNOL. LETTERS 25, 149-154).
