LA HIDROLISIS DEL CARBONILSULFURO PUEDE SER ESTABLECIDA POR MEDIO DE PARTICULAS DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO (SCRUB-SOLIDS), SINTERIZADAS, QUE GENERALMENTE SON UTILIZADAS PARA IMPEDIR PRECIPITACIONES SOBRE LA PARED, DURANTE LA OBTENCION DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO, TRAS LA CLORACION. ES ESPECIALMENTE ADECUADO CUANDO LAS PARTICULAS DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO SINTERIZADAS SON HUMEDECIDAS CON HIDROXIDO DE SODIO O ALUMINATO SODICO; POR MEDIO DE SEMEJANTE TRATAMIENTO, EL CATALIZADOR TAMBIEN ES REGENERABLE DE NUEVO.
