Abstract

A corner cupboard has a cupboard opening running across a corner and a carousel (16) arranged in the cupboard housing, with a stationarily rotatable rotating column (17), at least one shelf (19, 20) and a front element which is assigned to the cupboard opening and is movable to and fro between a closed position and a position of rotating readiness, offset towards the rotating column (17) and permitting rotating of the carousel (16). To this end, provision is made for a mounting in which there are arranged at two places arranged vertically spaced from one another in each case a lower and an upper guiding device (24 and 25, respectively), having a supporting unit (26 and 26a, respectively) seated on the front element and a holding unit (27 and 27a, respectively) fixedly connected to the rotating column (17) and holding the supporting unit in a displaceably guided manner. The holding units (27; 27a) of the two guiding devices (24, 25) are connected to one another via a connecting shaft (28) which is mounted stationarily rotatable on them and parallel to the rotating column (17) and on which there is arranged in the region of each guiding device (24 and 25, respectively) a toothed ring (29 and 30, respectively) which meshes with a toothed strip (31 and 31a, respectively) seated on the facing supporting unit (26 and 26a, respectively) and running in the displacement direction. <IMAGE>
