SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA EL ENTRETENIMIENTO DE UN REACTOR DE ALTA TEMPERATURA, DONDE COMO CONSECUENCIA DE DAÑOS DEBIDOS A ESFUERZOS MECANICOS, QUIMICOS Y/O TERMICOS, SE INTERCAMBIA CON UN HOGAR DE BAÑO DE FUSION FORMANDO UNA UNIDAD CONSTRUCTIVA BAJO LA PARTE DE HOGAR CONTRA UNA UNIDAD DE RESERVA. PARA ELLO SE INTERRUMPE LA ALIMENTACION DEL REACTOR DE ALTA TEMPERATURA. EN LA PARTE DEL HOGAR INFERIOR SE EXTRAE EL LIQUIDO FUNDIDO DEL BAÑO DE COLADA. LOS QUEMADORES DE COMBINACION GUIADOS SOBRE LA CUBIERTA DE ENFRIAMIENTO A TRAVES DE LA PARED DEL HOGAR SON APARTADOS Y SE LIBERAN LOS ELEMENTOS DE UNION ENTRE LA PARTE SUPERIOR Y LA PARTE DEL HOGAR. A CONTINUACION SE APARTA LA PARTE INFERIOR CALIENTE DE SU POSICION DE FUNCIONAMIENTO. LA UNIDAD DE RESERVA CALENTADA PREVIAMENTE ADELANTADA SE APLICA EN LA POSICION DE FUNCIONAMIENTO Y EL QUEMADOR DE COMBINACION SE GUIA CON CONDUCCIONES DE OXIGENO EN LA CUBIERTA DE REFRIGERACION DE LA UNIDAD DE RESERVA.
