ESTO TIENE LA DESVENTAJA DE QUE LAS SEÑALES DE CONMUTACION ESTATICA, QUE ESTAN CONTROLADAS MEDIANTE UN DISPOSITIVO EXCITADOR, PUEDEN PRODUCIRSE TAMBIEN CUANDO EL DISPOSITIVO EXCITADOR ESTA EN POSICION NO OPERATIVA, QUE PUEDE CONDUCIR A UN CONTROL FALSO DEL DISPOSITIVO DE CONMUTACION. PARA EVITAR ESTA DESVENTAJA, LAS SEÑALES DE CONMUTACION SON TALES QUE EL ESTADO DE ESTAS SEÑALES QUE ORIGINA LA CONMUTACION DE LA CONDICION DE CIRCUITO EQUIVALENTE ES EL MISMO QUE EL ESTADO DE LA SEÑAL QUE SE PRODUCE CUANDO EL DISPOSITIVO EXCITADOR ESTA EN SITUACION NO OPERATIVA.
